Aquanis Anchored Boat House in Firopotamos

Aquanis Milos Anchored  is located in a most picturesque old fishing village of  Firopotamos on Milos Island.   The house is directly on the sea with 2 balconies upstairs and a terrace right on the sea level. Downstairs is a lounge area and a garage with water toys ie kayak, SUP and more. This house accommodates 2 people. 

Parking:  Free public parking in the area around the accommodation, no reservation required.

History:  Aquanis Milos Anchored in Firopotamos  is a unique small two-level newly renovated old Syrma (boat house).  Nestled among 25 other syrmatas in the most picturesque and famous bay of Firopotamos. These structures (syrmatas) in the old days served as boat garages for the fishermen from the village of Plakes which is located at the top of the hill overlooking Firopotamos bay. In modern times most of the houses have been converted into cottages with living space built directly above the garage.  Aquanis Milos Anchored in Firopotamos  is unique in the way that two syrmatas were combined to offer greater comfort and undoubtedly became the largest syrma available.  The two downstairs boat garages are located at sea level, where one was converted into a relaxation area with direct access to the sea and the second into a storage area for water sports equipment. Upstairs there is a living room with a kitchenette, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bedroom with a Queen Size bed. Both the living room and the bedroom have balconies with unobstructed sea views. The interior spaces are dominated by white and blue in a traditional Greek island aesthetic, while the small kitchen is hand molded cement mortar.

Firopotamos is accessible by a small car. The road leading to the bay and the beach is narrow and downhill. At the height of the season, parking can become difficult due to the traffic of incoming visitors. Firopotamos has a beautiful little sandy beach and the church of Agios Nikolaos.
