Sailing in Milos

An action not to be missed is a boat visit to perhaps the most beautiful parts of the island that can only be reached by boat!

Kleftiko is the most famous charm of Milos. A small bay, on the SW coast, enclosed by a cluster of white islets. As you head towards Kleftiko you will have the opportunity to swim at possibly the most delightful shores and visit Sykia, a characteristic circular cave with emerald waters.

An excursion to Polyaigos, a small island east of Milos and south of Kimolos, is also extremely interesting. Polyaigos has sandy beaches and the most famous is the "Beacon ocean side" which is also worth a visit to the old lighthouse with a fantastic view from above.

A trip to the north coast is also interesting, despite the fact that most of these places are accessible by car, however this is the best way to visit the "Glaronisia" islets with their extraordinary stone growths above and below the sea .

You can choose between many types of boats such as cruise ships, sailing yachts or conventional wooden boats, private or group. Length and limit also vary (10 to 50 travelers). Most visits start from the port of Adamantas, while there are also trips from Pollonia, Agia Kyriaki or Provatas.
